How long before my event do I need to place my order?

Most people book their wedding cake two to three months in advance with at least one in-person consultation during that process. However, we are able to create your cake with as little as one week’s notice. We are here to serve you and will do our best to accommodate you any way we can.

Do you deliver?

Yes, we deliver to Barrie and surrounding area.

Is there an extra charge for delivery?

There is no additional charge if you live in Barrie as delivery is a service that is included within the price of your cake. If you live outside of the Barrie area, we may require an additional charge to cover transportation costs.

May I pick up my wedding cake?

Yes, you may, however we recommend against it. We want to ensure that your cake is transported safely and set up to look its best. Part of our service is delivering the cake to your venue and decorating it to your specifications. We send a personal decorator with your cake to ensure the cake looks perfect wherever it is placed.

Do you only do wedding cakes?

No, we create cakes for all occasions. We specialize in wedding cakes, birthday and anniversary cakes, corporate or church cakes, and any other cake you need.

If there are any leftovers, is there anything I can do to preserve the remaining cake?

At Tier Delight, we try to make the amount of cake that your require, this will be something we discuss in person. Not everyone will eat the cake and you may have leftovers. If this is the case, depending on the style of your cake, we will give you personal instructions on what to do as there are several different options depending on the type of cake.

What is the average price per piece for a cake?

The average price per piece ranges from $2.50 a piece to $7.50 a piece. All cakes are custom order and will be priced accordingly. Please refer to our price guide.

Do you charge extra for cake separator sets or multiple flavours?

Your cake will be priced accordingly during our consultation. You will know the final price of the cake at this time. There will be no hidden or additional costs that surprise you the day of your event.

When is full payment due?

We typically ask for a 50% deposit at the time of your order. We require the balance of your invoice to be paid two-three days before we deliver your cake.

How can we pay for our cake?

We accept cash or cheque. In the event of an N.S.F. cheque, a fee of $25 will be added to your invoice.

What is your cancellation policy?

Any cancellation of an order with at least 30 days notice will result in a refund less 20% of deposit. Any order cancelled between 29 and 14 days of your event will result in a refund less 35% of your deposit. Any order cancelled with less than 14 days notice will result in loss of your deposit.
